Video and audio recordings on physical cassettes in different forms and formats belonging to the GAYE Foundation were transferred to digital media with appropriate devices, uploaded to the d-CoreMedia | Media Asset Management System installed on the foundation servers, and the material recorded during the transfer was matched with the metadata and made ready for use.

Within the Scope of the Project;

Materials were barcoded.

Inventory records were created.

The cleanliness and physical condition of the cassettes were checked and dust was removed by ventilation method when necessary.

The relevant cassettes were rewound with a special device, brought to their starting points and transferred with appropriate devices.

The digitized tapes were transferred to the d-CoreMedia Media Asset Management System installed on the institution's servers after the control processes, matched with the inventory records received and made ready for use.
A total of 1689 hours of video/audio recordings were digitized. The video recordings on the external disks (24 units) belonging to the Foundation were transferred to the d-CoreMedia Media Asset Management System after the necessary controls by receiving 21.4 TB images.
